The Friends of the Viking Ship, NFP (also herein referred to as “FOVS”) is concerned about the
protection of the privacy of its online visitors, members and supporters. We believe that online

Contact information you provide may be used to send you e-mails, newsletters, or other
communications, if you have subscribed to receive this information or you have not advised us
that you do not wish to receive such communications. Donations or payments using credit card
numbers are currently processed through your PayPal account. FOVS does not see your credit
card information on its website. FOVS will not share your personal information with any
individual, business, government entity or outside parties except: (1) where you request FOVS
to do so; (2) to provide products or services you’ve requested through us; (3) in response to a
validly-issued subpoena, court order, or other legal process; or (4) when necessary to establish
or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal action.
Our Commitment to Data Security
We have instituted procedural and technical safeguards to protect your personal information.
These safeguards include firewalls. We treat data as an asset that must be protected. While we
protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only
FOVS officers or committee members needing the information to perform a specific job (for
